How Do I Submit?

Accepted Forms of Payment

Visit the Community Development Department before making a payment at the Finance Department to receive a formal invoice. Acceptable forms of payment include:

  • Cash
  • Cashier's check
  • Checks
  • Credit/debit cards
  • Money orders

Exceptions:

  • We do not accept credit card authorization forms.
  • We are unable to accept payment over the phone.

In-Person Business hours for paying in person are 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday - Thursday.
Mail Mail payments to: 14717 Burin Avenue, Lawndale, CA 90260. Ensure check, cashier's check, or money order payments are made payable to the City of Lawndale.
Online
Customers submitting applications by email can request to make payments by credit/debit card online. Staff will email the applicant an online invoice that will be paid through the Converge portal.

Digital

To submit permit applications, plans, and other attachments, email your files to:

Important Notes:

  • Include the project address in the subject line to help track emails.
  • Allow 1–2 business days for a response (excluding Fridays, weekends, and holidays).
  • The file limit for email attachments is 25 MB. If your attachments exceed this limit, use a file-sharing service such as Dropbox, Google Drive, iCloud, or OneDrive, and provide a share link that grants staff access to the files.
  • Submit PDF copies of plans and documents. Photos should be saved as JPEG or PNG.
In-Person

Submit your applications, plans, and other documentation in-person at City Hall between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday – Thursday.

Important Notes:

  • If submitting physical copies of plans, please drop off three sets on 24”x36” sheets and one set on 11"x17" sheets.
  • If you are submitting revisions, also include a copy of the redline plans.
  • Ensure all forms and applications are signed by both the property owner and the applicant to avoid delays in processing.
